Theatrical Performance Series: main stage plays and musical theatre productions predominantly by and about African Americans. CBTC has presented over 80 productions with over 500 performances to more than 75,000 audience members in a variety of venues Workshop with Dance Captain From Lion King in Greater Cincinnati and the Tri‐State Region.
Imagine That! Children's Arts & Education Program: provides literacy‐based arts education Saturday Classes, Summer Performing Arts Camp, After School Programs, and a Children’s Theatre Company that offers performance and production opportunities year round for children.
Arts in Health Program: a collaborative initiative to improve the health, safety and well‐being of the children and families we serve. CBTC has created and performs compelling, original short plays that focus on serious issues facing the general public and the African American population in particular. CBTC delivers the Kick Obesity and Seat Belt Safety projects to diverse audiences at community centers, local events and faith‐based organizations.
Community Outreach and Collaborations: We believe collaborating with other local, regional, and national arts and non‐arts organizations helps engage entire communities, increase public value, and bring a wide and diverse audience to our shows and activities.
